Instituted 1902. This medal designed by Emil Fuchs and struck by Messrs. Elkington & Co, celebrated the coronation of King Edward VII on 9 August 1902. It was presented in silver to members of the Royal Family, foreign dignitiaries, high officials of the government, senior officers, & service officers involved in the celebrations.
