The Western Australia Emergency Services Diligent Service Medal (ESDSM) is awarded to all employees who have achieved a minimum of ten years diligent service. A clasp will be issued for each subsequent five years of diligent service.

Service does not need to be continuous to meet this requirement as total service will be considered.
